truth & other lies
blankly stood truth,
sitting on its elephant
and roaring through the night,
howling the midnight
and
roaming the hour of the wolf.
truth is death
truth is dead.
truth is the lie that wakes you up
every damn morning
to go to work, to get back home
tired, go to sleep and wake up
every damn morning
to go to work, to get...
truth is the motto of all the
politicians
and the
police officers
and the
priests
and the
human species
truth is nothing but
the tear amid the rain
and the faces in
the crowd watching
the spectacle going on
and on
and on
and on
and it never stops
and it just keeps going
and it keeps dancing
until the curtains fall
until the curtains fall,
truth will be reduced
to sleeping giants
crying for love
like panthers in the wild
truth will be turned
into chalk,
a big fat greenish
poisoned frog,
a sidewalk infested
with people,
as if already
wasn't
arise
work
and
sleep
until the curtains fall
