it was just about past midnight and the smell of salty eggs still paired in the air like a dead body i had dreamed about the town waayy far away where  my wild love waited, probably asleep, taken in paradisiacal dreams, while here lies me, stuck in bedlam and in grime, reading nighthawks postcards and sittin' on the bed on a thursday night. i am supposed to wake up in somethin' around four or five hours, a sleep that i definetely will be not be able to get. but well, here i am, waayy down in the pit, in the deepest hole in the deepest hell, sinking to death in insomniac nightmares, glancing at the roof  muttering that the  coke is too warm and the night is too cold, but well, here i am, slowly dragging around across each day in hope of someday  to find again sarah right there in the west. the only time i missed my bed was when i was awake and the only time i missed being awake was when i was on my--- wait a minute there, i never even missed that. what??? and thinkin'...
